Phillip Foxley // I've Forgotten Something Else

«I've forgotten something else» is a punk song. It's as simple as that. As a long time Ramon es fan, it's hard not to like this track. This is as pure and genuine as it gets and that's just the way it should be. A lot of bands and artists have tried and most have failed. To play post punk, punk or punk rock might seem easy on the paper. All you have to do is throw three or four chords together, add some angry lyrics... voilá. You have a song. Well, you might have a song, but most likely you have crappy song.

That's why I found it so amazing and cool that Phillip Foxley (with Pete Hopkins on vocals) released this song this august. This is how you do it, this is like the blueprint if you want to create a cool and genuine punk song. The lyrics are funny, spot on and tells a cool story. The instrumentation is just as it should be and the track in total includes all the elements and attitude needed for a smash.

If you haven't already, check it out! This is truly an amazing piece of art. And yes. This is art!
