James Lee Baker - Disappear for the Weekend

February 26, 2019

It’s the last days of summer, the sun is on its way down and you are in your car.. The windows are down, the wind is blowing through your fingers as your hand hangs out the window of the car… And “Disappear for the Weekend” is on.. That sounds like the perfect road trip.

James Lee Baker is a classical trained musician who gets inspired by a wide variety of artists, styles and genres. This track is pop, singer-songwriter, country and rock wrapped in an amazing sounding production.

In March 2018, he released an EP of Folk/Americana songs called The Canadian River. The single of the same title placed #23 on the FolkDJ radio charts in April of 2018, and the song “Two Cageless Birds” went on to be selected for the John O’Hara Songwriting Performance Grant.

James has played at several prominent venues including the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, The Fox Theater in Boulder, and Swallow Hill and The Walnut Room in Denver.

If I was a betting man, I would bet everything on this man’s future. This is a guy who is meant for a bright future in the world of music. His talent is undeniable great and his sound is soothing, interesting and mesmerizing.
